DevRev Public/Guest Access Test

This page tests DevRev functionality for unauthenticated users. The widget should work without login, and will ask for email when users send messages.

When you click the button, DevRev will open. Since you're not logged in, it will ask for your email when you send a message.

How Guest Mode Works

  • DevRev widget loads for all users, authenticated or not
  • Guest users can immediately start a conversation
  • DevRev will prompt for email address when sending first message
  • Support team sees the conversation with the provided email
  • If user later signs in, their authenticated info is passed automatically

Testing Instructions

  1. Wait for the widget status to show "ready" (should be quick)
  2. Click "Open Support Widget" button
  3. Type a test message in the DevRev chat
  4. DevRev will ask for your email address
  5. Provide your email and send the message
  6. The support team will receive your message with your email
